Annie Le Funeral Update

Annie Le Funeral-A funeral and memorial service for Annie Le is planned at her fiance’s New York temple in the next week. Annie Le’s body was found last Sunday in a building near the Yale University campus, after going missing just five days before her wedding.

Cantor Sandra Sherry says Temple Beth El in Huntington would like “to create a private memorial service” for 24-year-old Annie Le, the Associated Press reported. Annie Le planned to marry Jonathan Widawsky at the same place last Sunday.

The Widawskys said they would avoid services for a while to make things easier for the synagogue. A funeral service has yet to be planned.

The holiday period begins with Rosh Hashana and ends September 28 with Yom Kippur, and a memorial service is planned between the two holidays, according to Associated Press news.
