Yale Student Strangled-A Yale graduate student Annie M. Le was strangled before her murder. The body of Annie M. Le was discovered from a wall of the university building on Sunday.
According to the New Haven police, on early Thursday morning a lab technician was arrested as a suspect in the murder of a Yale graduate student Annie M. Le. The name of the lab technician arrested was Raymond Clark III and he is 24 year of age. Raymond Clark III was arrested from Super 8 motel in Cromwell, Conn.. According to reports, he was taken into custody after he was found linked with the murder of Annie M. Le by DNA evidence. At $3 million, a bail was set. New Haven police’s Chief James Lewis said,
“It is important to note that this is not about urban crime, university crime, domestic crime but an issue of workplace violence, which is becoming a growing concern around the country “
Raymond Clark III was described as the person of interest by the police. On Wednesday, a law enforcement official said that Clark had scratch marks on his arms and chest as well. The marks and bruises on the body of Raymond Clark III raised the suspicions of his involvement in the murder of 24-year-old Annie M. Le. Both Annie M. Le and Richard Clark III worked in the same building.
A statement was released by the president of Yale Richard C.
Levin, that said:
“This incident could have happened in any city, in any university, or in any workplace,” He also said. “It says more about the dark side of the human soul than it does about the extent of security measures.”
The relation between the two co-workers is not clear yet.
