Insomnia Cookies,Insomnia Cookies delivers freshly baked cookies and milk to college students late at night. The purpose is for college studentsto have something good to eat when they get hungry, when most food delivery places are closed. The service started in 2002 by Seth Berkowitz. When Insomnia Cookies first started, Berkowitz delivered six types of brownies and cookies four nights a week. Right after the cookies and brownies were made, he would deliver them on his bike to his clients. Jared Barnett became a part of Insomnia Cookies so the company could expand.
Insomnia Cookies signed a deal with a consulting firm in New York to deliver the cookies nationwide. Thirteen new varieties of cookies and brownies were added to the menu. Now the deliveries are done by car.
