You have now entered the world of DANNIJO, which was founded just months ago by Dannielle and Jodie Snyder.
A couple of Jacksonville, FL girls, DANNIJO Jewelry was the result of an early interest in jewelry design. The girls used their dad’s medical tools to make jewelry.
A fact I’m sure he looks at differently today.
By high school the young women were turning their hobby into a business, opening a boutique in Jacksonville. College followed and Jodie was the first to make the move to New York, Dannielle followed later.
DANNIJO jewelry have captured the essence of indie hipster and uptown sophistication.
“Danielle and I have always loved the art of fashion, and jewelry design has been a means for us to find a fulfilling creative outlet for our passion,”
says Jodie.
“Our personalities are different but complimentary, which makes for great synergy,” . I’m much more bohemian and rock-n-roll inspired. I’ve always loved Native American Indian and tribal aesthetics, whereas Jodie finds more inspiration in Old Hollywood glam and films and music of past generations, This contrast has given us a very open-minded point of view that is translated in our range of designs.”
